Does any of this sound like your house?

““How was school?” “Good.” “What did you do?” “I don’t know.” And that’s the whole report.
“You sat down to play and somehow asked twelve questions before your child answered one.
“Your child pointed, smiled, or said one word, and you thought, “Okay… now what do I say?”
“You’ve Googled “speech activities at home” at 10:47 p.m. and closed the tab feeling more behind.
“You want to practice together. Neither of you wants the living room to turn into a classroom.
“You’re not doing it wrong. You just haven’t been handed an easy place to start.

That’s what these five days are for.

Before you ask a question, join what your child is already doing.

Kneel beside the blocks. Watch the bath toys. Look at what they’re looking at. Once you’re in their moment, a question or direction lands so much easier. This is the Day 1 idea from Coco’s Listening Mission, and it’s yours whether you join or not.

Join first. Then ask.
Your 5 days

One friend. One adventure. One idea for you.

Each day a different Carryover Crew friend hosts a five-minute adventure for your child, and hands you one small idea to carry into real life.

A new day unlocks each day, and you get 7 days to finish 5. Because sometimes Tuesday has other plans.

Every child is welcome

Your child doesn’t have to answer out loud.

A tap counts. A point counts. A sign, a sound, a word, a picture, an AAC button: they all count. Some kids chat nonstop. Some say a few words. Some say a lot without speaking at all. Every day of this challenge was built for all of them.

TapPointSignUse AACTalk

No performing. No pressure. Just more chances to connect.

Follow their lead.

Let them set the pace. The adventure waits for them.

Give them time.

The pause before an answer is part of the conversation.

Notice the small moments.

A glance, a giggle, a reach. That’s your child talking to you.

For you, Mom

Your child gets the adventure. You get the plan.

A daily path

Open the app, press play. No deciding where to start.

Ideas for real life

One small move a day for the car, dinner, bath, or bedtime.

Zero prep

No printing, laminating, or hunting for materials. Five minutes and a phone.

A grown-ups corner

See what you’ve played together and find ideas for home.

You are the parent, not the therapist. This just gives you an easier place to start.

Why this challenge exists

Hi, I’m Timberly.

I’m a mom, and I spent more than 20 years supporting children and families. I built a practice with 23 therapists across multiple disciplines.

Over and over, parents asked me the same thing:

“Okay… but what do I actually do at home?”

They didn’t want another worksheet. They wanted something that fit around dinner, errands, work, and everything else on the calendar.

That’s why I created Carryover Connect, and it’s why this challenge is free. Try it with your child, see how they respond, and decide for yourself whether it belongs in your family’s routine.

Questions moms ask

Is this a free speech and language challenge for parents?

Yes. It’s five days, about five minutes a day, and completely free for parents of kids 3 to 8. No credit card needed.

Is it really free?

Yes. No cost, no credit card, no payment information of any kind.

Will I be charged when it ends?

No. There’s no card on file, so there’s nothing to charge. A membership is a separate choice you make later, only if you want it.

How much time does it take?

About 5 minutes a day. You get 7 days to finish 5, so a busy day won’t knock you off track.

What ages is it for?

Children ages 3 to 8.

My child barely sits still. Will this work?

The adventures are short, playful, and led by characters on purpose. Many families do them on the couch, in the car line, or while dinner is cooking.

What if my child uses few words or communicates without speaking?

You’re in the right place. Every challenge day works with tapping, pointing, signing, sounds, AAC, or words. Follow your child’s lead.

My child is already in speech therapy. Can we still join?

Yes. The challenge gives you playful ways to practice together at home. It doesn’t replace your child’s therapist.

Is this therapy?

No. Carryover Connect offers educational practice at home. It doesn’t provide therapy, diagnosis, or treatment.

What happens after 7 days?

Your challenge access ends. You can still sign in and look at membership options if you’d like to keep going.

You don’t have to figure it all out today.

Just press play once. Watch your child meet Coco. Notice what they do. Tomorrow, try one more.

Five days from now, you might have a few new ideas, a favorite Crew friend, and a couple more “Look, Mommy!” moments than you started with.
